All the wit and wisdom of the ages
rests within this chapterhouse of pages -
contemplate a brand new bright tomorrow
here where yesterday brings joy and sorrow -
indications too of oddly vanished trails,
voyages to golden futures counted fails,
expeditions bound for cautionary tales.

Haha, yes, stuff certainly seems to accumulate over the years! My missus keeps suggesting bonfires …

So does mine!! This house move is proving quite demanding! We’ve donated a new wing to Dove House! And the local tip is full!

Sounds like a good cause, anyway. Best of luck with the move, Opher, never the easiest of times!

My daily journal has become my archive, Dave. I started it way back in 2000. Fortunately, it’s all digital. No way it can get dusty and is easily searchable. If I want to know what I was doing on March 30 in 2003, for example. All I have to do is look. Unless of course, I skipped that day. 🤪

If you ever write your autobiography, Curt, you have a ready-made base! I’ve kept journals, though not making daily entries, just when I feel like it.

I normally do a typed page per day, Dave. It’s how I kick off my morning. I also use it for planning out my day. It comes out to about 15,000 words per month.
